Michelle was drawn to movement from a very young age, leading her to pursue a career as a ballet dancer. Then, she shifted her vocational focus to grow in corporate management, where she discovered yoga as an outlet from the daily stress and demands of her work. Now her passion for yoga and teaching is evident in the lighthearted, enthusiastic approach she brings to every class. Her vinyasa based classes focus on physical alignment, presence, reflection and intelligent sequencing. She offers a down to earth, non-intimidating environment where each individual can comfortably explore his/her personal practice. Her hope is that through the practice of yoga, students can learn to transition more easily through some of life's challenges with strength, ease and introspection.

Prior to turning her love of Pilates into a career, Nariman came from a teaching background. Her Pilates Journey began in 2002 after the birth of her first child, when her passion for the method lead her to pursue a career change. Nariman has had a lifelong involvement and passion for fitness, having completed a number of Marathons and enjoyed practicing Pilates for over 12 years. She has recently moved with her family to Seattle from Australia, where she taught Pilates full time, working with a variety of clients from pre/postnatal to athletes as well as those people with injuries. Nariman enjoys sharing the benefits and rewards of Pilates with her clients and empowering them to integrate the Pilates method towards reaching their goals, whether to improve posture, rehabilitate from injuries or just get in better touch with their body. In her classes you will benefit from her emphasis on proper form and technique and her ability to challenge you in a fun way!

Anne grew up with a love of movement fostered by an energetic Granny who exposed her grandchildren to swimming, tennis and hiking. Throughout the years, Anne excelled in team sports – volleyball, basketball as well as track and field. An invitation to join the University of Washington Track Team brought Anne to Seattle, but an injury ended plans to compete collegiately. Shortly after, Anne attended a Pilates class and discovered a new challenge along with the benefits of strength, balance and mindfulness. Discovering Barre at The Union Method inspired Anne to become certified and begin teaching. Anne loves watching clients gain strength, while making sure they leave the studio completely exhausted! During her free time, she spends time with her husband and son, golden retriever and tries to hike as much as possible.

Amy has been dancing since the age of three. She grew up dancing competitively all through high school then continued her training at UCLA. Amy proceeded to move to New York, trained at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center and went on to tour nationally with the Forces of Nature Dance Theatre Company. After giving birth to her son and in need of getting her dancer's body back, she discovered her passion for the Barre technique. It is Amy's desire to share this passion along with her knowledge as a dancer, helping others to achieve their personal goals and discover their own inner strength.

At the young age of 2, Tami began participating in dance classes and immediately fell in love with movement.  She danced through out her younger years, through high school and then went to ASU on a dance scholarship where she became injured and could no longer pursue her love of dance.  She turned to Pilates as a form of physical therapy and an outlet from the daily stress of the corporate world.  Almost immediately she realized that she had an immense passion for Pilates, the postivie effectes it had on her body, posture, balance and ability to execute tasks of daily life. Tami created The Union Method with the aim of uniting mind, body and soul through a unique combination of Pilates, Barre, interval training, and cardiovascular exercise.  It is her goal to provide top quality training that will enhance your life, give you the body that you dream of and that you can use for a lifetime!
